Self-portrait under construction / 2004

We can find in the construction site, the scaffolding, the steel, the  heap of blocks, the red tubes, the excavator - sometimes just a vast empty site, which is transformed into a building. The state of transition, in developing from a lot of raw materials to what is wholly another object, is one of the veritable metamorphosis.
   Before constructing the building  towards the sky, they dig into the ground.  I reflect myself and photograph myself –my shadow in this hole in the ground. “Self-portrait under construction” is a title of this series of photographic work.
